PARK Senior Villas Goodyear is hiring a Maintenance Assistant at our Assisted Living & Memory Care community. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the physical plant, FF&E, and grounds are maintained in excellent condition. Plan, organize, schedule, and complete a broad range of maintenance duties performed by a Maintenance Department consisting of the director and an assistant.

Now hiring for a Part time position.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain grounds including outside building repair and lawn maintenance in cooperation with the landscaping contractor and garbage removal services
• Maintain all areas inside the building, including offices, to include, but not be limited to: cleaning and shampooing furniture, window cleaning, and the maintenance and replacement of vinyl floors, painting, plumbing repairs, drywall, and all other repairs as needed.
• Maintain and oversee repair of facility equipment in order to ensure proper function
• Respond to work order requests in a timely manner.
• Utilize the computer maintenance system as required.
• Prepare and refurbish rooms for resident move-ins; including painting, replacement of vinyl floors and installation of ceiling fans
• Inspect resident rooms for potential problems and hazards
• Housekeeping Assistance
• Dietary Assistance
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and heating/air conditioning mechanical equipment and systems. Additional certifications a plus!
• Assisted Living maintenance experience a must
• Computer experience a must
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a fingerprint clearance card
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be TB Free
• CPR/1st aid training required
• You must be able to lift, carry push, pull >75 lbs
• You must be able to stand, bend, climb, squat, and be on your feet for long periods of time.
