Park Senior Villas, An Assisted Living & Memory Care community is hiring a Dietary Assistant at our La Canada location!!

This position is responsible for packaging appropriate quantities of food to meet menu and recipe requirements. Manages the food ordering, delivery, stock and inventory.

**Cooking is not part of thisposition**

Daily responsibilities and duties:

Dietary

Distribution

Food Supply

Multitasking

Needs to be super organized and clean

Manage will assign tasks for the day

Keep work areas clean

Packaging and label food

Put away truck deliveries

Package and distribute quality food according to a planned menu and

recipe.

Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.

Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods.

Ability to understand and implement food preparation and safety instructions.

Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures

Ability to safely operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools

Works closely with all Residents and staff members and vendors.

Wear proper clothing and shoes for work, along with name tag

Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· Ability to maintain a sanitary environment and comply with safety standards.

· Must be able to move quickly and lift, push & pull 50+

· Must have valid Fingerprint Clearance Card

· CPR/First Aid

· Two step TB

· 2 Reference Checks

· Food Handlers

· Background check
